Introducing their new tablets…

DP World Southampton provide customers with fast, reliable and secure services to move containers through the strategically located port of Southampton.

They approached Recognition Creative to produce some new workbooks that staff could refer to as they introduced their new tablets.

The design brief stated that they must be hard wearing due to the location of their usage, which would be largely onboard ships. The workbook was to provide staff with safety guidelines for Display Screen Equipment (DSE) and also provide a step by step guide on how to log in and use the tablets effectively.

“Just a note to say…thank you so much for all the time and hard work you put into our booklets. They have arrived today and look even better than we had imagined.”

Easy navigation

We created several design concepts, from which the client decided to progress with the above option.

A strong yet simple design, that allowed for easy navigation of pages due to its single ring binding.

The final product was printed on tear proof, water resistant and UV resistant synthetic sheets to maximise its longevity in a rugged environment.
