Respecting human rights

Recognition fully supports the objectives and requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We place the highest importance on respecting human rights while conducting our business activities.

Employment

Recognition Design & Marketing Ltd is a graphic design and marketing agency based in Lymington, Hampshire. We directly employ five members of staff, as well as utilising a trusted circle of freelancers. Our staff are directly employed and are not in a category which is generally seen to be vulnerable to modern slavery. Likewise, our freelancers are well known to us professionally and personally and pose no concerns.

As a small business, we have a culture of open communication and encourage staff to report any concerns generally as well as in relation to concerns related to modern slavery/trafficking and child or forced labour.

Supply chains

We are committed to continuously improving our practices to identify and eliminate any slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains, and to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

We use a small range of print and digital suppliers which supply services to us on a regular basis.

We carefully select the suppliers we work with, including due diligence into their business practices to ensure that they take an ethical approach to human rights. If we had any concerns, we would not procure services or terminate the relationship immediately.

Going forward we will continue to improve our procedures to help us identify, prevent and mitigate any risks of modern slavery or human trafficking.

This statement has been approved by the Directors of Recognition Design & Marketing Ltd for the current financial year.
