Recognition were commissioned to create the main tour guide design for the open-top bus safari around the New Forest. The daily tour takes in the scenery, animals and villages of the New Forest National Park.
After taking a detailed brief from the guys at the New Forest National Park, Recognition came up with a couple of different concepts for the tour guide design layout, both based around the idea of a scrapbook full of memories. We created blank lined paper areas within the design so that passengers could write down the experiences and take note of good stops along the way.
“We’ve found Recognition have the capacity to deliver significant volumes of work within short deadlines to a high standard and low cost.”

To help achieve the scrapbook look and feel we initially looked at specifying a textured paper stock, however to bring the project in on budget we made use of a selection of background textures. Canvas, ripped paper, polaroid style photo frames, paperclips and folded map image resources from online stock image libraries were utilised.
Recognition also provided the print management of the tour guide design and offered a competitive price on an uncoated, recycled paper stock again to fit in with the concept of the guide being a scrapbook. A large print run was delivered on time and on budget.
